I am in the middle of my spa install and have just found out about F-1346-91....Its a law concerning the fence you MUST put around your spa or pool. I live in St Pete FL by the way..
I was planning on putting some high class latis around the spa and deck area. The problem I have encountered is that the law states " No child shall be able to climb or get under the fence!!
Any ideas or maybe you have found a way around this would be a great help. I hate to think I may have to put a privacy fence all the way around my spa....It kinda kills the mood sitting in a box of water.
Thanks alot
Jim

i am not sure but u should be able to get a spa cover for the spa and that will cover the law part,,, i think... the cover will prevent access by a child.. if you make one make sure that it has fasteners to hold down the top when not in use...

one idea I have is maybe make 2 lattice walls, 8' high, comming from the house at 90 degree angles. then take and make two doors out of lattice that attach to the ends of the other two walls and that way you can just open it up all the way and have a nice little "nook" for the hot tub.
