I just brought home a used Nordic DLX spa that I bought from a friend at work. It will be installed on a slab. It is currently located in the location where it will stay. The tub is about one inch (1") out of level (measured from outside to outside.) Will this be a problem, or will I have to build-up something to make it more level?
Thanks,
Stuart

Most of the time that little bit of a grade difference isn't all that important. However, if you do build up the location so it is level, you have to make sure the entire base is level! Do NOT just shim up one side. You will end up with a cracked tub sooner or later, as when these things are full, they usually weigh over a ton-ton and a half! So what ever you do, make sure the entire tub has support under it and it's smooth and flat!
Hope that helps you to decide
