I have a 1996 Gatsby spa. I purchased it use form a neighbor and installed it on a concrete deck. Because of the grade I had to use a 2 x 4 on each corner and raise it about 1" 1/2 inches to level it. After 2 days I noticed an 8 inch crack in the foot well of the spa. It is not leaking water.Could this have happened from me leveling the Spa? How can I repair this? Thanks.

Yes absolutely it did. You can never raise a spa without having a complete base intact to support the entire structure as a whole.

You've got to get some support under the footwell. I recommend a couple of bags of sand and then wiggle the spa into place.

We're talking about 2000 pounds of dead water weight here so it's very important to support the footwell.
