Hello,
I have acquired a used Wild Water spa: tub in great shape, equip looks good. I have attached pics to help with questions.

The Century 1081 Pool Pump says 115v on label, , and the electrical box from the house I want to tap into goes to my A/C unit that says 240v on the Disconnect switch box. Wires from house are 10 AWG Wht, Blk & bare cooper, (wht & blk 12 AWG go into bare- assume ground wire?)

Spa equip. box has 4- 8 AWG wires coming out, (blk,grn,wht & red), which I have read on this forum should mean 2 speed- but don't see any control for 2 speeds on spa.

I have read that I need a disconnect box on the spa wiring also. Can I come off the 3 house wires to disconnect box, and then to the 4 spa wires? (I cannot aford an electrician, but do have a carpenter friend that may know electrical- but wanted to ask spa experts your thoughts before contacting him)
