Air switches are wired differently by different manufactureres. Each individual micro switch has a common (the terminal set away from the other two) a Normally open, and a normally closed terminal. The normally open terminal is the one in the middle of the common and normally closed.
this terminal is "open" meaning no flow of voltage (continuity) between the It and the common terminal when the switch is "at rest" conversely when the switch is at rest there IS continuity between the common and Normally closed terminal. when the siwitch is activated...the voltage then flows from the common to the normally OPEN terminal with no voltage to the normally closed. There are sometimes wires piggybacked on one female slide on connector and it is easy to get the wires on the wrong terminal... I did it myself just the other day... Depending on "what isnt working right" that could be your problem. Keep in mind that if you have two wires piggybacked on one female connector..they will NOT bridge between NO and NC terminals. They will be on ONE or the other.

HOpe this helps!
