I am an electrical neophyte. I just bought an Arctic spa, and need to get a 50A GFCI. I have an electrician coming to install it (near the tub), but am unsure exactly what I am getting. I have gone on line and found a dizzying number of items under GFCI, ranging from $10 to $250. Can someone explain to me, in plain language, exactly what I need to buy? Is it the kind of thing I can at Home Depot?

I want to spend as little as possible, without compromising safety.

Thanks for helping a rookie.

My spa should be delivered this week and I went to Home Depot and got a Cutler Hammer Spa Panel. It was $89 and has a 50 Amp GFCI breaker and room for 2 110v circuits if you want them. Also Lowe's has a Square D Spa Panel for $117. You could use either one of them. Cutler Hammer or Square D and both good and have been around for a long time.
