Hi,

I need help hooking up my pool /spa pump.

Its a Century centurion 1 hp 240v made by A.O. Smith electrical

The connections inside the motor house are labeled L1 L2

Thens there a white wire that is on its own block thats labeled high
and a brown wire on its own block that is labeled low.

when i hook the red and black wires to the L1 and L2 nothing happens.
(ground is on a seperate green lug)

Help please !

Most likely you need a new pump.
