I am so glad to have found this site!

I just purchased a spa on Saturday. The delivery is backed up for several weeks which is a good thing since I do not have my concrete down yet! that comes this weekend. My husband is wanting to wire this himself and we are trying our best to get all the information we can first. The wiring from our panel in the house to outside is what we are getting conflicting information about. Is there any "basic" guidelines" or wiring a diagram we can go by from the panel to the tub and anything inbetween? How do I obtain my county codes so we can see what it is going to take to make this right the first time?

It might be wise to contact an electrician who could give you guidance on county requirements and, after you do the work, inspect the wiring before applying power. The charge for this service should be reasonable.

Well this wasn't as hard as we thought and with a little help from an electrician friend the wiring went smoothly.
