Just finished building a new home and had a 220v, 30amp line installed thinking I might install a spa at some time. Since then I found out that I should have had a 2220V, 50amp line installed. Does anyone know of any spa's out there that would work with my configuration or should I go ahead and bite the bullett and have a new electric line run? Thanks for any input - Ron

Run the new electrical line since most older 240V spas will require at least 30A if not more, and many with multiple pumps (as most are now) will need at least 40A, up to 60 depending on heater size. (most get by with 50 just fine).
