Posted a question about having a ground rod under the disconect box.
But now it has vanished.
Doesn't seem to be much talk about having an extra ground rod at the disconnect and there isn't any rod shown in any wiring diagram I have seen.
Anybody else use a ground rod there and it is connected to the grounding bus in the box...right? (not the neutral bus)

Sorry but we lost some posts between december 05 and april 06.

As long as you've got a good electrical ground, and a properly installed gfci, there is no need for a ground rod for your spa/hot tub.

I already drove the rod, it shouldn't hurt anything to have it would it? It seems like it would just strengthen the ground grid all around wouldn't it?
Thanks.

additional grounding isn't ever a problem.
