I recently purchased an older Hotspring Classic model, but before I hook it up I wanted to clarify a few things. The only wiring diagram I could find online was one for a 1999 Hostpring, and I believe mine to be older than this. There are 4 wires in the wirebox in the hot tub. The colors are as follows: Red, Blue, White, and Black. I'm assuming that the white is the neutral and in the absence of a green wire that the black is the ground, I was just wondering if someone could clarify this for me.

The second question I had was that the wiring diagram I am looking at right now uses one 20amp gfci and one 30amp. I was wondering if I would run into any problems using one 50amp. Thanks.

The serial number on the spa is: FH- 311016 if this helps identify the year at all.

Not sure on the wire colors, but don't ever assume any color other than green to be ground. The breakers are separated for a reason, one for the heater, one for the pumps. Keep them separate. It will save a lot of headaches when the time comes to figure out which is tripping the breaker when it goes south.
