After finally getting our new to us tub up and running we are now moving on to the heating stage. We were thinking gas but after looking into codes and heater cost we have decided to go electric with a control instead of standalone as our tub currently has no control pack and all equipment is external. We currently have a 2 1/2hp 230v pump and de filter and I want to use the control pack to control the pump and also have it to automatically come on when the heater needs to heat and for auto filter cycles. I am looking for a 240v unit with preferably a 5.5kw heater, 12v light connection and connection for atleast a one speed pump. We don't have a blower at the moment but connection for a future one might be good and ozone is not in the plans at the moment so an ozone connection is not important at the moment. I would also prefer digital topside but am not opposed to air switches. Seeing as I have so far spent a lot of money on this free tub I am trying to stay under $400.
