I recently bought a 93 Cal Spa and rehabbed it. It has about 18 jets. I replaced the seals in all of the jets and it appears to be working fine. But it seems extremely underpowered. I remember my old hot tub would boil like a pot of water. (It did have an air pump though).

It currently has a 2 HP pump. Should I get a bigger pump or should I put an air pump on the venturi lines to "'supercharge" them
