 Post subject: Changing the color of a hot tub?

Hi there
New to the site,lots of good info.Could someone please tell me if it is posible to change the color of a used hot tub and what type of product would work the best,it would only be used 3 months of the year at the cabin.

Rose colored glasses? Unless you don't want a nice rosy color.

Seriously, not possible.....at least not in a way it will last for any length of time.

update.. I was just told that appliance paint might last for a while (this is basically an epoxy paint)

Thanks for the reply Dr Spa,Do you think I would have to remove the old gel coat with a sandblaster or would I be able to just go over top the old gel coat.

Are you sure it's gel coat, or acrylic over fiberglass?

Hi Guys
I took a beter look at the tub and it is acrlyic,I found a acrlyic resurfacer for tubs and stoves,fridges called Tubby and they said it can work on a hot tub,I got the tub for free so I might try it out and see if it works,Bright red just doesn't work for me.
