Hello...I am currently rebuilding a older spa with 5 or 6 jets and will checking for leaks etc. before I spray closed cell poly urethane over the jet attachment points, hoses and tub. Are there any recommendations to replace gaskets or anything else on the jets before sealing? I did notice one of the jets is able to be rotated slightly( from the outside of tub). Just checking because even if I do not see any leaks before sealing Murphy's law states that it will leak as soon as the poly is applied. Does the poly alone help to keep the jets from leaking? Thanks.

Personally, if I had free access to the back sides of the jets, I would remove and re-gasket ALL the jets before putting on the foam. Foam will not stop a leak. Replace the gaskets and then add silicone to the back side of the tub where the jets mate to it. Then, leak test it BEFORE you put the insulation on... and don't forget to bring it up to temp, and run it on high speed to ensure no leaks.

Cool ..I'll definitely take that advice. Don't want to have any problems down the road. I'm about mid-project so chances are I'll be back.... Thanx
