Hi,

I have a Gerico Hot Tub that was given to me by my parents. The person that had it before my parents picked it up for free at a yard sale. It looks like it was made back in 1983 according to the control box. Control box is a Ramco ST-1115A. The owner before my parents put a new pump on it and said the heater wasn't working. I am debating on whether I should fix it up or get a new one. It needs a new surround, possibly a new control box, and i need to run 20A service to it, since the control box has a 20A plug on it. Don't know if I should change the plug to a 15A or leave the 20A on it. I am open to suggestions.

Chris

Hi Chris,
It will probably be in your best interest to replace the exixsting equipment with a digital system. Ramco is no longer, and 24 year old equipment will hound you for repairs. A 20 Amp Dedicated service will be required, or you mav convert to a 220v application with the VS series.
