I currently have a “Jacuzzi” spa Model #Z145/345.

The pump is a Hayward pump, “Power-Flo Pump.” The following numbers are on the pump. SP1510-Z-24-E, the horse power reads, “3/4.10”. 115 Volts. 60hz. Amps 8.8/2.6. RPM 3450/1725. On the end on the pump where the wiring housing is it reads “MagneTek.” It is a 2 speed pump.

The diameter of the pipes are 1.5 (in and out) I believe. I only have one pump.

What I want to do is increase the horse power to make the jets stronger. The jets are currently too weak for me. I needa pump that will replace the current one, without too much conversion and without damaging the computer board.

Will I have to replace the wet end (impeller housing) to?

Any pump recommendations and HP?

Thanks,

Kenneth

How many jets do you have? You could increase the HP, you are looking at a new pump & motor and some re-plumbing. The top union won't be hard, it's on flex, what about the suction, is it on flex or movable?

The bottom union is movable. 10 jets total, with no air blower.
