I just upgraded from a ap4 to a lx15 controller. Wiring & plugs are in proper places,however when the pump cycles, it comes on in hi speed?

The ap-4 and the LX-15 have reversed wiring for high and low speed, go to your pump and flip-flop the black and the red wire to cure your problem.
