Our Morgan spa control finally bit the dust after babying it for several months. It got to where it would pop the GFCI all the time and then when it was running, everything was running and you couldn't turn it off. Went under the deck to see what was going on in the control pack and the board was smoked pretty good. I'm surprised it was still running. Ordered the SmarTouch 2000 as a replacement based on a recommendation from here. Received it yesterday and 3 hours later, it was operational. I did have a couple of issues, nothing major though. Those issues:
1) Connecting the blower, the cord supplied was about 1 foot too short. Couldn't use the original cords as the plugs were different. Had to extend the cord to make this work.
2) Started everything up and it passed the SMOKE test. No smoke anywhere! Problem was with the blower again though. My blower is a 240 volt blower and the board assumes 120. Emailed SpaBabe and she told me exactly what I needed to do.
3) When the primary pump was running on high, a horrible noise like metal hitting metal came from the control pack. I diagnosed it with a screwdrive as a stethoscope and determined the noise was coming from the inside of the heater tube. Had to take it back apart and look at the element. I couldn't see exactly where things were touching, but I used my long screwdriver to move things around a bit to keep things from coming in contact with each other. Put it all back together and it's quiet now.

As an FYI, if you get this spa control, download the manual from this site as the one that comes with the control is shorter and not as detailed.

Thanks SpaBabe for your help in making this happen for me!
