Hi - looking for some advice. We have an old Coral Springs hot tub that is probably at least 15 years old. I accidentally let it freeze several years ago, which resulted in some broken plastic pipes - seem to be at the control unit, and also broke the filter housing. Since then it has been dead for the last few years.

The entire area around the shell was filled with expanding foam insulation, so the flexible hoses etc are not accessible. I don't think anything is broken in that area but I can't be sure.

The unit was electric, controls made by Hydro-Quip. I believe the pushbuttons are the pneumatic type.
The shell itself seems to be in good condition. I suppose the controls and pump may still work, but I am leaning towards replacing the entire "guts" with a replacement system.

Do you think this is feasible for me to repair? I have pretty good mechanical and electrical aptitude, but have never worked on a hot tub or done much with plastic piping.

I would appreciate any advice. I have photos and technical details I can post if that would help.

Thanks,
Doug

prepare to dig out the insulation, you will likely have broken fittings or split pipes under that foam.
