 Post subject: Support for foot well also?

:?: I am installing a used spa, and read in one of these posts that the center part, (foot well?), needs support also.

My spa has a wood covered metal frame that I have supported on treated 2x4s. I can get to the underneath, (see pic), to add concrete block or more treated wood to support if needed. (Wasn't supported at home we moved it from)

Want to do it right!

Footwell support is VITAL. If you just support the lip.... the lip will bend and eventually crack. The spa shell was designed for the footwell to support all the weight.
