We purchased a used jacuzzi and then found that the heater didn't work - since the jacuzzi was at least 12 years old we decided to replace the entire spa pack - first we were going to purchase a generic one but were advised that we would need to re-do plumbing to add additional line after heater. In lieu of doing this we paid more to purchase a Balboa M-1 control and paid additional for jacuzzi pumps. Our concern now is that the Jacuzzi originally had two 230V pumps S55CXNFE 7055 and now we were advised to put in one of those pumps (1 speed) and a 2 speed pump 2500-255 which is showing a lower hp. We're concerned about the power to the jets with a lower hp 2 speed motor and don't want to install one thing and then have to take out and re-do.
