I have a '96 Cal-x Fun Spa that uses a plug that fits into a 120v/240v receptor. Nowhere in the printed manual does it say if it's 110 or 220. It reads on various places: 120V. I don't have written specifications for the spa.

My questions:
How does one know if it's 110 or 220 ?

Are there online documents with specifications, electrical and otherwise, for the '96 Cal-x Fun Spa?

Thank you.

Not sure where you are located, but here in the States, 240V and 120V plugs are quite different. Also, 99.9% of the time 240V spas will not have a plug, they will be directly wired into a GFI panel, since this is code. To check to see which yours is wired for, open the spa cabinet and look to see if you have an L1 and an L2. If you have both, check to see if there is a jumper from one to the other. If there is a jumper, your spa is set for 120V. If you only have an L1 and a N(eutral), it's set for 120V. If you have L1 and L2 and there are no jumpers between them it is 240V. If your pump is 240V, you definentally have a 240V spa.
