My Blower recently quit working, it only makes a loud whining sound when turned on. The Tub is a much older Kohler but is in very good shape. The question is "Do I need to purchace an external or underskirt blower?" "What are the differences?"

The existing blower is located under the skirt however it looks like the external model listed on Spa Parts.
