I have an Emerald Elite and it's tripping the GFI immediately, but when connected to a non-GFI breaker everything works properly. The neutral is wired properly in the sub-panel, so we're assuming that there is a ground fault.

We've disconnected the blower, heater, and light from the control panel in the tub and the breaker still trips. We had a leak and there was moisture under the tub, but it has since dried.

Can you give any direction on what might be causing the GFI to trip?

If this is a "new installation" double check the GFCI wiring, it is common for the wiring to be wrong. Pay particular attention to the neutral wire.

It's not a new install, and we have checked that....it has been in place working fine for 3 years+, we had a leak but that has been fixed. It will work when connected to a standard breaker, but immediately trips if we hook it back up to the GFI. We have also tested the GFI, and it is hooked up correctly, and functional.

Bump.

Please help....we are still having the same problem....can't figure out what it is. We have had the hottub running for about 2 weeks now, and no leak at all, but it was still tripping the GFI, so we disconnected the GFI and it works wonderfully.
