Post subject: Hot Springs Spa Classic Model with blown motor....Worth repairing?
PostPosted: Sun Feb 27, 2005 4:45 pm
Hi, i have an opportunity to pick up a free Hot Springs Spa Classic Model 220 Electric. The motor needs "repair" which i am guessing means it needs a new motor. How much is it gonna cost and is it worth fixing. Thanks

as long as the tub itself is in good shape, it's worth fixing.
here's a link to some motor prices.

I bought an older calspa, with one broken motor, one leaking pump, and questionable controller. Couple of new pump/motor combos, and digital electronics, and the guy who sold it to me, wanted it back :)
