I was told beforehand that the hot tub was shot so anything was a bonus... Put some water in the tub and flipped the breaker and voila... everything worked... Heat.. lights ... jets... everything...

Then I decide to clean it up better so I drained the tub and refilled it with water.. flipped the breaker and all started well then i get an OH on the display... so I shut it down and wait 36 hours or so...

Flipped the breaker again and I get no fault on the display.. jets seem like they are working allright.. but no heat.. heat does not budge...

I open the panel and see a red led light illuminated.. since it is red I don't think that means anything good.

Now back to the jets... the center jet at the bottom, I remember that is where a majority of the warmed water came through but now there is nothing coming out of there..

It also looks like I am missing a filter.. there is a stubbed line that looks like it should be connected to the hose I have pictured..

Any suggestions before I call the spa guy??? I would have called him already but the darn thing was working great before I drained it .. I cannot believe draining it screwed it up this badly.. but I should have left well enough alone..

Also... how do I fand somebody that can work on the things???

Any help is appreciated..

If you have a jet / drain where all the hot water came out from, then your spa may be fitted with a 24 hr circulation pump. It could be that after refilling the spa, an air lock developed in this pump. Try bleeding it by loosening the union to it. This should return prime. Also check all fuses inside the control pack.

I wonder if the circ pump is missing. With no circulation pump the heater will not activate. Dunnow where you are but any hot tub dealer should be able to point you to an independent repair person. Or check on craigs list.

Ok so I have all the pumps working .. all the jets are working fine.. filters cleaned... flow is good all over...

BUT... it still will not heat.. no faults up on the display... the only real difference that I see is I do not remember a RED LED light being illuminated on the board like it is now.. see pic below.. looks like the lable below the LED is KS13

Any other ideas before I call a tech?? Thanks..

Are you getting voltage to the heater?
