I'm fairly new to the hot tub scence, I got this used tub a couple months back and it fired right up and was working great till last weekend. I have a hotspring highlife K361100 and I'm getting flashing led and it wont power on. I checked the filters they all look good and I rinsed them anyway.

I tried disconnecting power and turning back on but same stupid blinking light as soon as I put power to the tub, jets won't turn on even for a second.

I read alot about the theromisters and I checked both of them(not sure whitch on is what) the first one measured 8.07K and the next 3.29, the temp in the tub was 82.5. any ideas if I'm onto something? should try something else?

due to a lot of great info on this forum I have been able to verify I have a defective hi-limit thermister.

Hello 300 mag- if you're also 300ram on e-bay- just want you to be sure the circ. pump hasn't failed as well before you purchase anything.

The water temp at the thermistors might actually be what they're registering, if there's no flow from the circ. pump.

Just ensure the circ pump is flowing, and you're spot-on with your diagnosis.
