Dave...
Wow... we have the same exact tub! For the exact same price. We were missing a heater, but purchased one from here, and called Babcock, had Don come out and he hooked it all up, and we are heated! We are having another issue with the thermostat, so we were going to just put it on the timer instead of Auto, but I don't know how to set it. You'd think it would be easy.
My husband said to tell you that the thermal couple (?) wires have to be insulated, and Don did that as well.
If you are interested in having Don or someone he recommends, please call him at 517-484-8100. I'm unsure if he will travel to Clinton Township/County, but we are in Ingham, so since you are close, he may! He is WAAAAYYY more reasonably priced that some that we have called.
And if you have any ideas on how to set the timer, that you don't have, sorry, please feel free to let me know!

having another issue with the thermostat, a timer instead of Auto,I think you should go to the supplier and try to ask where should you get some tech for your thermostat... it is not kind of easy thing is that...

I have a Leisure Bay spa which is equipped with a Pro Shield 230 V unit. The unit looks like the one pictured above. Control panel is different.
The guts of my pro shield look just like these in the pictures. I have tripped the "High Limit Tripped" and caused the light to come on. Otherwise there is no power to the tub.
What needs to be done to get this tub up and running. I have just replaced the heater, pump #1, the manifold, and some tubing. The tub heated up to 100 degrees and we used it. Today we heated up the tub and came inside. I have reset the breaker and pushed the test buttons on the unit. I cannot get the power to come back on. When I returned to the heater the water was hot but the high limit had been tripped. I have attempted to push the "High Limit Reset Button" but I cannot get it to budge. Is it the Hi Limit Rest button that could be faulty?
I need help!
New thermostat? Simple fix?

Pro Shield Ultra 230 V Leisure Bay Spa
In response to the "High Limit Tripped" light coming on: I waited it out. Hot tub simply needed to cool down. I waited a couple of hours and it fixed itself.
On a different note:
There are cool bubbles coming into the hot tub through the air lines in the seats. Is this b/c the air outside is cool? Also feels like heated water enters only at one spot in the hot tub (at base of where control panel is). (Note: Heater is brand new/pump one is new). Some of the jets on the right side work and some dont. How is this possible? I thought that left side jets were controlled by pump 1 and right side jets controlled by pump 2. If it works at all, wouldnt it work for all jets and not just some?
Is this customary for an older unit? The heater and pump 1 is new. What is the high limit? 110? 118?
