Hooking up an older tube for a friend. With all 4 wires hooked up as marked on control GFI trips.
Disconnect common(white) and won't trip.
With white disconnected, there is 120 volts at the common(white) at the control. If I disconnect the transformer there is no voltage at white.
Tub will run with white disconnected if I manually trip the relay's but no power to control panel or light.. Put 110v to transformer abd there's no out put. What should there be for output?? Transformer bad?? Was working fine when disconnected a year ago.
Any Idea's????

Like they say, It's usally something stupid.
GFI was wired wrong.
Everything working fine with the exception of the jet valve leaking.
