I have a 1991 HotSprings Classic Model F (115 volt).

It has the following symptoms:

A. The Power Indicator Light is Blinking.

B. When I reset the heater thermostat it will power up and everything appears to work but in kicks out again in 5 or ten minutes. When it does it will not reset for another 10 or 15 minutes.

C. The GFI does not trip and I do not hear any solenoid or valve noises.

A 1991 Hot Springs doesn't have a power indicator light??

Maybe you mean a 1994-current?

.... a flashing power led (red) indicates the heater has overheated... Might want to check the circulation pump flow, and replace circ. pump is there's no flow, or ohm out the temp sensors (if you have a spa that uses thermistors to guage the temp) to be sure they're in the correct range...

Also, be sure the filters are good and clean... a clogged filter can stop the circ pump from flowing as well.....
