I have a Great lakes Hot Tub, I have been having major problem for months.

The "FL" code is for the pressure switch being closed when the pump is off. New pressure switch properly calibrated should take care of that.

As far as the rest of your issue, is the power surge you talk about a surge in the incoming power lines? With your system the temp default setting is 100 so if you get any power interruptions your temp will be set at 100.

This was a new pressure switch installed last week.
As for the power, we are not sure where it is coming from. We have tried to by pass the shut off by the tub thinking it was a bad breaker. A few days later the same thing. They suggested changing the GFI to see if that may be bad. It is expensive so they suggested putting in a ceahp 2 pole breaker to see if the same problem happens.
The electrion does not think it is bad though.
As I stated the board was changed, and the top side (both originals put back in) the we changed the pressure switch and high limit switch (both news on in the tub)
The problem seems to happen about every 3-4 days.
After I turned off the breaker last night after I got the FL code, is has been fine and the temp still at 95.
Any suggestions will help.
Someone asked if there was a transformer on the tub, I am not sure. The Tub is about 5 years old

The FL is from the pressure switch as I stated, being that you have a new one it most likely is not calibrated correctly. If they are calibrated too light the head pressure can keep the switch closed when the pump turns off.

can a heater casue a small surge wich resets the system? I assume it can beacuse when the heater blew, it tripped the GFI. Is there any way I can get my guy ti check it. or are you or do you know anyone near the Bflo area that is good at fixing these?
I hate to charge the GFI beacuse you can't take it back.

Unlikely a heater will cause that.

any other ideas on what to do? Should I change the GFI to see if the problem still happens?

It sounds like connections or voltage issues. Outside of that without me being in front of it I do not know.

I was wondering if you thing it could be the pump or pump motor. Today the tub was set at 91 and the actuall ytemp of it was 88, the heater never went on. I went to increase the temp, the pump went on and stayed on and I could not shut it off. I then turned the tub off and turned it back on and set it to 90, while the pump was running it the temp did the trip thing to 100, and the pump stayed on. The tub did not shut off so I think it may be a minor power problem from the pump or pump motor. Is that possible?
