Post subject: 93 sundance calypso circuit board
PostPosted: Tue Jul 12, 2005 4:18 pm
hi folks,

i have a '93 sundance calypso spa with what appears to be a fried relay to to heater. found a generic relay and tried to solder the 4 points on back of circuit board but only three took due to original "melt" when relay fried. guess i'm looking for a new/rebuilt/ used relay board.

btw- the problem that led to uncovering the bad relay was that if you tried to start up the spa it would "trip" the gfi breaker. unplugging the relay, no wires touching, and wireing around the gfi, found that the motor and blower seem to be working fine.

are used boards available?
someone told me that there was a company in arizona that would rebuild it for around $150.00. any one heard of them?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

jake

Jake, get me a number off the board, something like 6600-XXX and I can try to help get you the correct board.

seventys,

i've tried to send you a private message but when i attempt to send it, the board says that your profile does not exist and you show no e mail address in your profile.

to sum it up, i found a place in arizona through an independent spa repair guy that rebuilds boards for approximately $ 200.00
