Post subject: Sweetwater Telluride -03 code
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2005 7:23 pm
Greetings from the Northland where we need the Hottub all year round.
Had a close ( took out our phones and 1 computer) lightning strike.
Spa is Telluride.
No pump action - but jet button shows low/high/off indications
No lights - but push button shows on/off indications
error code -03
Filter ok and can't seam to see any blockage.

Thank you anyone that may help. Still need to get phone service and other problems solved. Loren

The problem is that the pump is not running, the question is why? Lightning strikes most often destroy the circuit which tells the pump when to come on and off. What you need to do is check the voltage going to the pump when the -03 error is being displayed, if voltage exists then most likely the pump has been toasted, if no voltage exists then replacement of the ciruit board will be required.

I find NO 240 ac going to the pump (measuring red and black wires) when calling for pump. With lights also not coming on when indacator says they are on should also show circuit board problem?

Insurance company wants me to get on this asap.
Thank you. Loren

I have talked to Sundance with little help. They claim there is to many things that it could be and want a tech to come 120 miles to check it out.

I have the circuit board out and need to know is there anything else I can check without someone coming out. Thank you for the help. Loren

P.S. It is 46 above here in Duluth and sure wish I could have used it today!
