i have an 85 hot springs indoor/outdoor moto lounger. i can run the tub for 2 or 3 days or even a week. but once i turn the tub off. it doesn't have power until it decides to.
for instance, i had a leak around the light lens, so i turned the tub off drained, sealed the lens and refilled the tub. at this point i had no power. i called an electriician out and he said i had power to the outlet. then later that week i had power again. very strange right.
has anyone ever had a problem like this? does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Check to see if that thing has a door switch -

Those things can drive you crazy with these exact symptoms.

Well it should have a plunger mounted on the door. Push on the thing to see if it's doing what it's supposed to.

If it doesn't work when you hold the door in - then you'll need to dig out the control box - which is no fun on those and start looking for other things.

There are high limit switch(es) mounted in the control box that are very sensitive - and once old can cause this problem too. Little red buttons stick out with no markings....

check those too.

If you don't know how to remove the box or investigate the lack of power to the spa properly then you'll have to get someone that knows what they're doing to help you on site.
