Spa: 1993? Great lakes spa 5 person
230v single 2 stage pump and blower
control: brett aqualine EM-100
Air push button
1 main pump 230v 2 speed
thermostate: knob on topside control, pushbuttons on topside control, knob on side of heater / controller
heater: 2" Stainless Flow Thru, 15" long

I have broken three contactors. The seem to shutter on and off while engaging. Then when i check them later the metal conductor on the contactor is broken off with the spring. Any ideas? What are some possibilities? Any info is very much appreciated. Thanks
Nick

Low voltage or possibly some type of electrical interference. Putting a snubber across the coil may help.

R/C Network (combination of a resistor and a capacitor).

Radio Shack is where I get mine, it does not come up much these days. There are several factors that will dictate what capacitor and resistor combination you need. I would search the net and see if any of spa sites sell them.
