 Post subject: Filter Placement in the Loop

Location: Manitoba, Canada
I have seen the spa filter placed upstream and downstream of the pump. I am talking about a cartridge type of filter. Is there a best practice or an absolute correct way?

If it's a pressure filter, it goes on the pressure side of the pump.
