Discovery Sunburst 7-person, 64 jet, Stereo Spa w/Stainless Steel Accented Jets, Digital Lighting, and Built-in Waterfall...This tub is selling at Costco for $4500...we are new to the hot tub shopping market and would appreciate any buying tips. Does this tub sound like a good deal? Some other questions: What's the deal with circulation pumps? are they good or bad...we've read that although you consume less electricity you lose out on filtration...What's the deal with full foam insulation? We are in New York and want to be able to use the tub in the winter. What's a good tub height? Should we be concerned with anything else...what should we consider? :?:

Ditto! I am looking at this spa or possibly the Costco Infinity Laguna for a bit less and looking for best bang for the buck. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.

Well, we bought a Hot Spring spa from a dealer five years ago. It was the only model that used chlorine as a sanitizing agent- our skin reacts to bromine. Still works fine to this day.

costco does not have any trained tech's and have had them refuse to pay for a spa tech if their price exceedes $55.00.They will send you the part and its up to you to get it installed properly.Look at a good dealer in your area and save the hassles. That was on a 3 month old spa.
