I have a 1993 Sundance Maxxus that use Sundance Accu-Pressure jets. Does anyone know a good way to remove the jet from inside the tub - I want to replace the O ring and apply some silicone lubricant to seal it.

The the air injectors are the Sundance Ultem style (6540-234) and would like to do the same - there is mention of a $70 tool (6000-200) - is this truly needed? Image included - labeled #1.

Any help/info appreciated!

afaik, those things cannot be normally removed as they are glued in. You will have to just about break them out - risking damage to the injector body.

You're better off just smoothing some silicone around the outside where the fitting meets the shell - hopefully that will work, if not, then you've got a really huge job because once one or two go - the rest are on the way out.
