okay so i have this baby i acquired used up and running wonderfully, but there is what appears to be a jet that dont do nothing and if it is one it looks like it would be a goodie in a good spot.Have no manual.
It is the lower of 3 , the top two have shower heads and dont do much, on the control side in the opposite corner of the filter compartment. it has the largest orafice in the tub (Not counting any occupants anatomies, particularly the loud ones).
The motomassage/lounge has 3 valve controls one of them dont do nutin', or so it appears. Its the one furthest from the motomassage ( I try to stay furthest from the motomouths). It appears "tight" however and seems to be turning something.
The jet doesnt appear to be an intake, seems like thats through the filters, yay no daily hair removal, on this one!
I suspect the non working valve may have toggled between the gnarly high powered foot jet and this one?
If it is meant to be a jet let me know the code name, I'm hoping tsunami, and first steps to troubleshooting it.
If its decorative or for attachment of an aromatheraputicfogmachinediscolight also let me know.

This is weird, but it will make sense, eventually.

Not all the jets in your spa can be on at the same time.
Read this slowly, several times.

You have TWO jet divirter controls, and several small air flow control levers.

The air flow control lever will only turn the air on and off to a jet if that jet already has water flow. If that jet doesn't have water flow, turning the afc lever has no effect whatsoever.

The two jet divirters wok together, sort of. One, you've probably already discovered. It's the large lever above the controls. We'll call this the "main" divirter) The second diverter is actually one of the jets. The big jetsream jet at the footwell of the moto-lounge seat doubles as a 3 position jet divirter. Clockwise, "middle" and all the way counterclockwise are the three positions.

Here's the weird part. The jetstream jet divirter is only active when the main divirter is in one particular position (either all the way right or all the way left, I don't remember ) In the other position, the jetstream jet divirter is inactive. This is called the "Standard" configuration. If you turn the main lever the opposite direction, the jetstream jet is now the divirter, for 3 additional configurations. So, there's a total of 4 configurations in your tub.

Confusing? Just be glad you don't have a Grandee of the same era

Yay, I willl play with the "dial" of the lowermost jet /diverter and see if that diverts to the inactive one, whilst messing with the diverter above the controls.
