hey all, Im new here and to spas so please bare with me.
I got a cal spa from a guy on a trade.It is about 6 years old and worked fine before we drainned it and moved it.Now i have wired it up and refilled it.The motor comes on but there is no water comming thru the jets.you can here the motor change when the jets are turned off and on.there is a little light that is on on the controll panel that is lite.It says saftl suction beside it.Any help with this would be great.
Thanks Bob

Also, I tried to find the where ti vent it at but there is only a drain plug at the bottom of where the perpeller is and this i dont think would vent it.

Hopefully this airlock has worked its way out by now, but in the case of your comment that you don't think that it will...

A lot of times, those little vents will do wonders at removing airlocks.... CalSpas are absolutely notorious for refill airlocks. But they're awesome once you get the airlock problem solved.

I have a similiar problem;

I am new to the board and a 2 month owner of a hot tub (I wish I wouldve bought one 10 years ago!). I recently bought a 2000 Masterspa LS800.

When I set it up 2 months ago, I filled it by puting the water in thru the filter compartment to prevent an air lock. All was good and it fired up. I drained it a couple days ago to refill it so I would have fresh water for the winter (I live in MN). Again, I fille dit up by puting the hose in the filter compartment to prevent an air lock. I turned on the power and it seemed everything was good.

After getting the water chemistry where it suppose to be, I went in it last night and turned on "Therapy 1" and I could hear the motor going, but nothing came out of the jets. When i turned on "Therapy 2", those bank of jets works fine.

I tried it again today and the same thing; the motor for Therapy 1 is activated but nothing out of the jets.

What is an easy way to determine if it is an airlock, and what is the easiest method for removing it?
