We have a '96 cal spa with the 4000 series system in it. There are 2 pumps...a 1-1/2 HP and a 4HP. The 1-1/2 HP pump shaft seal is leaking and I am replacing the wet end.
Before I drained it we had a problem with the jets...getting good pressure. Sometimes after 1/2 hour or so, the jets will shut down and the pump will stop running...you just hear a click when you cycle thru the jet settings...and the display reads FLO
Is the jet pressure and pump shutoff from the leak? Is there something disconnected? Should I fill it in and grow tomatoes?
