I just got a new mountain springs everest. Got a heck of a deal on it as the shell lip has a blemish. Looks like it got grazed by a forklift or something and the gelcoat stuff is smooth for about a square half inch. So they gave me the tub for $3699, Not bad for an 8 foot tub. However there is one thing I cannot stand and need help with. It has these "neck jets" above the waterline that stick me in the back of the shoulders. I have a long torso. What can these jets be replaced with? I dont even care if they are off all the time but they have to sit flat as possibe. Here is the tub and a picture of the jets. ALL of the components including the pump is waterway it seems and the spa pack is a balboa VS 501.
Any help is appreciated and what does it take to replace the jets? The current ones "pop out" or extend under pressure and you can point them
Here is the tub

unless the centers can be removed (inserts) and replaced with a different design, replacement isn't going to be easy. It will involve removing the skirting around the jets, the insulation covering the plumbing, cutting the plumbing, removing the jets, and you can figure out the rest.

might be wrong but look like pop out waterway neck jets which can be turned off by rotating the outer escutcheon. if you put a flat chisel blade behind the escutcheon and twist to 'pop' the jet away from the spa you 'll be able to replace it with any waterway adjustable mini jet internals
