Post subject: Replace Jets on old tub
PostPosted: Mon Apr 18, 2005 3:22 pm
Hey all.
I've got an old tub.
The only identifying info I can locate on it say "7-89 Astro"

I assume this means it was from an Astro line, and manufactured in July of 89, but that's an assumption.

Anyways, The old flex PVC is degrading. Its springing leaks all over the place. Chunks that I can cut out and replace with new PVC, I'm doing, but where the old pvc goes into the jets, I'm just lost on how to deal with that.
I can't take the old pipe out and I can't figure out how to get the jet assembly off the shell. Even if I could, I wouldn't know how to go about replacing the jet assembly.

So, any points, tips, diagrams, etc that anyone can point me to?

Much appreciated.
