 Post subject: replacing piping :)

this is something my husband has done.. but we just went out to tub and all of a sudden the water is going down and down and down.. so my question is.. when we get this repaired again..what is a good bonder... to use to bond the pvc piping together..maybe that was our problem....... thanks in advance. amber

pvc cement is best for the job, but you need to make sure that when you bond the flex pvc to something, you need to be using the flex pvc cement. Also, make darn sure your connections are CLEAN before applying the cement. Flex cement uses a different cleaner/primer than regular pvc cement. Also, if you are using the regular (pvc to pvc) cement, make sure it is for plumbing, and not electrical conduit. There are different grades regarding this.
