I have a small Jacuzzi Brand Tub that is running on 220 but have recently attempted to add a Blower I acquired from another tub. The blower however turns itself off due to having to work too hard. Does anyone know how I should be placing the Blower? I have it mounted in the cabinet and the pipe from the blower goes up into a T fitting. Should I be making the air come downward or what should be done to make this work correctly?

Are you sure it isn't a 120v blower that you've hooked into 240v?
Orientation doesn't make a difference unless it's an outdoor unit that has to be mounted vertically.

I just used the hookup that was on my electrical box but I did test the circuit and it is a 110V circuit, which is exactly what the blower is rated at. So...I wonder why the motor is kicking off. I am thinking about repiping the blower air so it comes down into the pipe instead of going up and putting in a check valve right before the air and water mix because the pipe I have connected to it is kinda long and the check valve is right next to the blower. But hmmm... no real reccomendations as to how to introduce the blower air, huh?

Try it disconnected from the plumbing first to be sure the motor is ok.
As for the connection, are you hooking into the jet lines or do you have seperate blower holes in the tub?

The blower actually works for about 10 minutes or so before turning itself off. I am trying to tie it directly into the jets line. I have photos of the whole thing I did if that helps.

You'll need to put the check valve at the "T" and maybe upgrade your blower. Because you're working on the pressure side of the pump you are fighting a lot of head pressure. Your system might be running at 10-20 psi but a 1 HP motor is only capable of pushing back against a little over 1 psi, so keeping the line to the blower pressurized as it is now will be a hard fight. You want to direct as much water past that tee as possible.

I have unincorporated the blower and capped off the line. I have another idea for using the blower later on maybe but for now will run without it until I get that part of it figured out. Thanks for all your help. At least this has been a learning experience for me with regards to blowers. I have a friend who might build me a seat bubbling system out of fiberglass for the blower to feed. That's how it was when I got the blower off the other tub...it fed it's own dedicated system that went to bubblers in the seats. Anyways, I haven't completely given up on the idea of incorporating the blower but obviously did it wrong the first try.

That's the usual type of installation.
What you've tried to do is often referred to as "turbocharging" the jets and there aren't many references to it, much less how-to's. If I come across anything I'll add it to this thread just in case.
