Hey guys, new guy here. How's everyone? Just got a call from the wife saying the hot tubs not heating. We have 2 pump pushbuttons on our control panel and she said when she pushed both buttons pump 1 didnt come on but pump2 did and we have water flowing from the jets. I would assume the waters not heating due to water flow of the first pump but I'm not sure. It was there when we bought the house and I honestly dont know what kind of tub it is. Its 5.45pm here and Im at work so when I get off at 3 am Ill be working on a tub. Just wanted to know what to look at and what I need to be looking for. Thanks.

If the pumps not coming on, first thing I would check is to see if its getting electricity to it. Could be something as simple as a blown bus fuse, or loose wire, or something more serious like the pump seized or shorted out.
Also check for any water spots around the pump, if the seal is gone, the water could have shorted out the pump, and caused it to stop running.

Thats the first thing I looked at. A fuse. Found a 25 amp blown. Didn't want to try and lead the wife thru troubleshooting over the phone but want an opinion before i got there. But yea lucky for me it was just the fuse. Got one from work last night. No problems since.
