I have an eight year old Blue Ridge Spa and everything works great but the heater pump continually runs. The water keeps at a constant temperature and the heater cycles on and off, but the pump never stops running. I thought it was supposed to cycle on and off. I just installed this week and it was a freebie from a friend.

If you're talking about the small circulation pump - no, its not supposed to shut off. It runs 24/7.

I just bought from a neighbor a Jacuzzi Z145/345 (from the sticker on the side of the shell) and I thought the circulator pump was only supposed to run a couple of times a day. Is it supposed to run constantly on this model as well?
