I just swapped the motors in my Jacuzzi Essense 340, but I cant get the high pump to turn on and the water will not get hot.

It's a used hot tub and the old owner said only the motors were bad.

Pump 2 (which is the high pump) doesn't seem to be getting power. I have tried both pumps on pump 1 and they turn on.

I tested the connection (on the electric board) on pump 2 with a meter and I get nothing. Not sure if it's because there is an issue with the electric board or it’s not getting a signal to turn on.

I also am not getting any heat, but I’m not sure if that’s because of pump 2 not working.

With a typical jacuzzi using twin motors, one for twin speed operation, and the second for high speed boost, the heat only comes on when the low speed is in use on the first pump. Yours MAY be different, but I would be hard pressed to believe so, as the amperage of both motors on high plus heat would be a massive power drain. In this situation, the low speed pump turns on, pressurizes the flow-through heater, and activates the pressure switch attached to the heater housing. The pressure switch tells the circuit board to turn on the heater relays, if heat is required. Does your topside control function the first pump properly? If not, check all connections from the topside control to the circuit board. You might have a loose connection.

Ok, I'll check the connections. Thanks!

I powered it on and left it run for over 3days. I still only have 1 pump running, but the water temp is higher, but NOT "HOT".

I tried to get some help but I can't find anyone in my area that works on spas... :(
