I had a spa given to me, I was told the pump was bad so I had a new motor and pump put in. The control system is EM-100, previous owner had it wired as 110v, I've got it wired as a 220v and have it converted, as directed by the directions. The new motor ran for about 6 hours and then never started up again. I've take it over to a factory and had them test it, was the capacitor or coil in the motor. I've pulled a old capacitor and put it in the motor, ran like a champ for 6 hours and now back to same thing, NOT RUNNING. I had a new spa that had to have a "no load neutral", but that went back to store because of "bait & switch" (different story), I've checked all wireing, only thing different is I was told this needed the neutral hooked up, so I've hooked a neutral in and since I've had nothing but issues. The GFCI will not even trip, and it also is a new one. What I'm affraid of is the power is not staying converted and is sending a full 220v to the capacitor and frying it. Is this possible? Any Ideas?? Before I take it to the dump.

Troy :(

Don't worry about posting any replies, because I've fried an additional 2 start capacitors and then finally the motor gave out, the tub was only worth $300 (guess) so it found a new home at the dump.
